FLUTTER-BYE - Ironworks Studios 2025

4* Review (Sounds and Stage): Langford's bold and impressive staging keeps the audience engaged from start to finish, enhanced by sharp sound and visual design by Anthony Martin that clearly delineate shifts in time and place. The clarity of Ferns’ performance is a testament to the depth of work that must have taken place in the rehearsal room.

5* Review (Latest TV Brighton): Thank goodness that director Jordan Langford and choreographer Jack Pallister are on hand to take the classic, gag filled and locally topical script forward with aplomb. As teams go this one is pretty dreamy for sure. Between them they work the magic that is essential in bringing a fun seasonal and traditional entertainment together.

4* Review (Sounds and Stage): ... director Jordan Langford ensures the production bursts with humour and dynamic energy. The show has real pace and is packed with well staged, traditional pantomime routines that had the audience in fits of laughter.
Jordan's production of Christopher York's BUILD A ROCKET (GMFringe Award Nominee) recently completed a UK Tour and a run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
BUILD A ROCKET - UK Tour and Edinburgh Fringe 2023

5* Review (Lost In Theatreland): Detail is what drives this show. Christopher York’s text is refined and Jordan Langford’s direction and design, along with Ernest Acquah’s sound design, elevates this into a slick and powerful production. Rewcroft moves around the space with intention and there is a reason behind every movement. The integration of singing, music, props, and lighting, all serve a purpose.. Build a Rocket shoots for the stars and soars even further. A truly creative, witty, hilarious, poetic, and emotive production with music and audience participation. This production is the definition of theatre that makes you think and feel.

4.5* Review (First Night Magazine): Jordan Langford’s clever directing draws out the story through a varied and suggestive approach, generating enveloping ambiance despite an almost complete absence of stage elements. With obvious care put into the show’s overall rhythm, it is astutely boosted through its stimulating blocking, added short live singing snippets and implied interactions with the viewers.
