Jordan Langford

Director/ Choreographer
Jordan Langford is a director and award-winning choreographer committed to creating bold, dynamic theatre that champions working-class and marginalised voices, often using music and movement to enhance and unlock stories.
Jordan is a member of Stage Directors UK, the Movement Directors Association, and the Young Vic Creators Program.
Originally from Scarborough, North Yorkshire, Jordan graduated as Head Boy from the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in 2013. Following a successful career as a performer, Jordan completed an MA in Directing (Distinction) at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance and has recently completed his Certification as an Intimacy Coordinator at the National Film and Television School (NFTS).
Jordan is the 2025 winner of the Le Classique De Danse Award for Theatre Choreography and is nominated for the Carl Alan Award 2025 for Theatre Choreographer.

From 2014 to 2019, Jordan served as Artistic Director of The Talentz Theatre Company in Kent, where he programmed and directed a diverse slate of full-scale productions, including performances at the Edinburgh Fringe, and played a key role in developing new creative projects and opportunities for young performers.
Jordan currently leads outreach activity as Outreach Coordinator at Brick Lane Music Hall, where he oversees an annual project for young people, commissioned in partnership with The Boleyn Trust. This initiative delivers creative facilitation in East London schools and, from 2024, has expanded to include a scholarship programme, increasing access to high-quality arts experiences for underrepresented communities.
He holds a Certificate in Education (Education, Training, and Skills Sector) from the University of Hull, qualifying him to teach in Further and Higher Education.
